……..a little slice of heaven for the ultimate detox & pampering to nuture our souls….and a positive way to put a full stop to the end of 2009.
This is for Anthony………doctors orders! You have to play this on high rotation, in fact on repeat, every day so you don’t forget that we LOVE YOU.
HEY BIG SPENDER: After seeing how good does this pussycat looks in diamonds, I’m off to buy Ruby her own statement peice of jewellery.
IN THE WONDERMENT OF FRIENDS: I arrived home last night to a freshly made bed with ironed linen, a beautiful branch from an Oak tree standing tall and beautifully majestic on my bedside table, a vase filled with garden picked roses and a organic chicken & leak pie in the oven………………truly…….it was was so, so sweet. Mr P you spoil me, how did I get so lucky?
PS I might add my apartment was a mess when I left for work, bed stripped bare & not a morsel in the fridge. It sure did come up roses!
And following on in my wonderment of friends, the beautiful Carlton’s sent me a bunch of magnificent peony’s & a set of le chic Paris note cards (they know me well). XXX
So a little piece of wonderful. baby Bea came (beatrix aster morton) today at about 2 thirty. Incredible full lips - an impressive head of full cover hair and this face that seemed at the time to stop the world for seconds.
We are all baffled by her and she is calm, serene and seemingly knows she is stepping into the third-child-just-get-with-it plate. But her lips — they are like something else. Its not accident too that today it officially became peony week. Flowering (in full) for one week - this is it and boy, does it make sense she has bought on peony week. The night before we had a picnic up our treehouse as a foursome and the sky as we packed up turned the most magnificent pink. Incredible signs everywhere of her.
I cant wait for you all to meet her but wanted to email a bit about her to you three special peeps now i am not so drug-dreary. Pics to come, but i warn you, she is a knockout!! Love mm
These are my top 3 picks for bebe Morton’s middle name. I think I may have nailed it. The middle name has to start with A, Millie’s is Ava & Sebastian’s is Atticus. Will let you know on Monday…..here’s hoping!
The other night the Morton’s gathered me up for dinner at their house, to cheer me up & take me to my ‘happy spot’. And, after all that has happened over the last few weeks, to take time out to appreciate & celebrate our friendship and family.
Naturally the night had an underlying French theme. I was greated at the door by this image and noted:
# Sebastian was now Pierre….so dashing in Navy & White stripe fishermans top
# Millie wore a French vintage print dress, toasted a garlic & cheese baguette & would have done the Can Can in a heart beat if I’d asked
# Camille was on the i-pod playlist, along with Regina Specktor
# And we all conversed in my type of French (read a lot of le, la, oh la la and super bien) before most words
